GENEVA CONVERSATIONS IS A MINISTRY THAT PROVIDES A PLATFORM TO EXCHANGE VIEWS ON BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES FOR THE SPHERES OF SOCIETY.
The 8 spheres we speak on are:
Economy, Education, Government, Church, Arts and Entertainment, Science and Technology, Family and Communication
Geneva Conversations organize workshops on the sphere’s specific topics, and facilitate discussion groups where Christians and non Christians can exchange thoughts and ideas on biblical principles in their sphere of influence.
We believe that the Bible has a lot to teach us on each sphere, and that christian life is not something lived only on Sunday morning, but every day of the week!
If you are a professional or a student in one sphere or another, or if you just have an interest in a particular topic, contact us so that we can organize a meeting.
BETWEEN NOW AND THE END OF THE YEAR WE WILL BE HOLDING 3 EVENINGS:
During our Geneva Conversations evenings, a small group of people gather around a theme to discuss it. Our goal is to bring together people with a common interest, passion or questions to have a friendly exchange of ideas with bible in hand.
Each evening will be hosted by a special guest, and light food will be served.
An offering will be collected for the evening's expenses.
SEPTEMBER 14 AT 8PM: SLOW LIVING
Our society is moving at a crazy speed and this sometimes leads to uncontrolled fatigue, we are overwhelmed by events and caught in a fast pace that never seems to stop. Slow living is a lifestyle that encourages a slower approach to aspects of daily life and helps people slow down and enjoy life more. Take the time to join us to discuss concrete aspects of this concept that is in opposition to the pace of our society.

OCTOBER 12 AT 8:00 PM: A VISION FOR OUR VEGETABLE GARDENS
At the time when a major crisis was announced for Egypt, Joseph was found to be preparing a coordinated response. Now, as the crisis looms on many levels, who among us would be willing to stand up as "Joseph"? To do what, how and with whom?
Amateur and professional Christian market gardeners have set up a network; let's see together what they are doing and what we could do in our own contexts.

NOVEMBER 9 AT 8PM: LIFE AROUND THE TABLE
When we read the Gospel of Luke, we regularly discover Jesus in three situations: he goes to a meal, he participates in a meal or he returns from a meal. Isn't this theme crucial in the present times? During this time of discussion we will reflect on Jesus' ministry around the table, as well as on the themes of hospitality and community.
